Kim James Ledford, 59, passed away Nov. 18, 2011, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia.
He was born Oct. 26, 1952, in Gaston County, son of Irene Vanhorn Ledford and the late James Haven Ledford.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church, Gastonia.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Interment is private.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by: a daughter, Heather Ledford of Gastonia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Kathy Ledford of York, S.C., Ron and Linda Ledford of Gastonia, Michael and Rosemary Lemmons of Eudora, Kansas.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by: his brother, William Harold "Bill" Ledford; sister, Judy Ann Ledford.
Arrangements are with Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia.
