Joshua Clay Ledford, age 26, of Nebo, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Mission Hospital. A native of Burke County he was born on December 11, 1984 to Timmy Ledford of Nebo and Crystal Jarrett Suttles of Morganton. He worked for Janesville Products in Old Fort. He was a very loving and dedicated father, son, and brother. He was very friendly and had no enemies. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Guy and Edna Buchanan.
Saddened by this loss of Joshua, in addition to his parents, are a daughter Brooke Hodge of Nebo; step father Rick Suttles of Morganton; maternal grandparents Pete and Jeanette Jarrett of Morganton; paternal grandparents Clay and Helen Ledford of Nebo; siblings: Ricky Suttles and Tessa Suttles of Morganton, Adriane Ledford of Marion, Courtney Wilson of Sailsbury, and Chirs Buchanan of Nebo; special friend Jennifer Roland and her children Austin and Anna Roland.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 3:00 p.m. in Westmoreland Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Faith Mission Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Brooke Hodge Trust Fund, 500 Tate St, Marion NC, 28752.
