JR was born on December 17, 1925, and was the son of Mark Eugene Ledford and Mary Jane Gibson.
JR was my Grandfather.
Mena and JR had two sons, Robert Eugene "Bob" Ledford and Gary Lee Ledford.
Bob is living in Hiawassee/Florida with his wife, Dollie.
They have two daughters and 7 grandchildren.
Gary was born January 30, 1954, in Towns County, GA.
He first married Patty ?. No children.
He married Patricia K. Hancock b. July 4th, 1950
She was the daughter of Bill and Charlotte Hancock.
Pat had a child from a previous marriage, and she and Gary had 2 children. They have 5 grandchildren.
Gary d. March 27, 2003, in Florida, and is buried at Joab Ledford Cemetary, Hiawassee, GA beside his Mother.

Wilhelmenia and JR were divorced in approx. 1962 or 1963.
She later married Kenneth Edward Jones, of Lula, GA. No children.
Mena d. October 15, 1994, and is buried at Joab Ledford Cemetary in Hiawassee, GA.
Ken d. June 26, 1992, and is buried at Joab Ledford Cemetary in Hiawassee, GA.
JR Ledford d. June 5th, 1989, and is buried at Old Ledford's Chapel Cemetary, Clay County, NC.
